I am adding video tutorial links to help illustrate some of the more complicated aspects discussed in the guides. If you find a good SimCity video you think I should be recommending, or if a link I have posted gets removed, please email me to let me know!

"Will There Be Expansion Pack Updates?"

There will NOT be updates to the guides to cover the additional Expansion pack featuress for SimCity.

This is for the simple reason that having reflected upon the game experience after writing up the guides I simply couldn't bring myself to play it any more, let alone spend yet more money on this product.

It wasn't a decision I took lightly; I have loved every version of SimCity, but this game should have been better. I confess I am not a fan of the way EA treats it's players and it can and should do more to protect the ethos and value of it's beloved titles, but even so I had expected better. As Colossal Order so neatly and unexpectedly proved in 2015 with the release of Cities Skylines, it simply isn't that complicated to make a good city simulator.
